CASE: NZXT Phantom $140 (Antec 900 series have one of the worst cable management and it's a midtower) OR Corsair 600T $135 after rebate
PROCESSOR: i5-2500K $220 (If you don't do heavy 3D rendering or any kind of heavy multi-threading tasks then you don't need i7-2600K. Save money here and if there's a micro center near you go grab it there)
MEMORY: G.SKILL Ripjaws 1600 8gb (4gbx2) $90
HEATSINK: Thermalright Archon $70 OR Corsair H70 $110 (the zalmann cooler is good but they can be loud sometimes and you cannot replace the fan. also, they're an ass to install)
MOBO: ASRock P67 Extreme4 B3 $160 (you can go with a Gigabyte UD4 or Asus P8P67 if you can spend a little more, but the ASRock board is such a good deal that you wouldn't wanna miss it)
VIDEO CARD: HD6950 2gb $235 after rebate (you can easily unlock 6950 to 6970)
SOUND CARD: ASUS Xonar DS $60 (you won't need that kind of a powerful sound card unless you're recording or working on a sound related field professionally so this xonar's enough for you IMO)
PRIMARY HARD DRIVE: OCZ Vertex 3 120gb $300 OR Crucial C300 64gbx2 $280 (2 c300's for RAID0. this setup will give you the fastest reading speed but the writing speed's a little retarded and you need to configure your drive properly for best performance)
STORAGE HARD DRIVE: Samsung F3 1tbx2 $120 (RAID0 these guys and it will give you amazing speed)
PSU: Corsair HX750 $140 after reabte OR Seasonic X750 $170 (Both are modular)
Blu-Ray Burner: LG WH10LS30 10X Blu-ray Burner: $79.99 (no comment on this, but i'm not sure if you need a blu-ray burner just yet. i usually get HD movies from the internet and it is just better to watch blu-ray movies on a HD TV that's at least 40")

They (the cas latency 8 ram) are a little quicker but the difference is kind of negligible. I opted for 9's with my build just because it didn't seem worth the extra money.
