I'm wondering if there might be a market for a monolithic external rad box to compliment the Magnum chassis.

A solid aluminium frame with modular cutouts for mounting radiators would remove the design headaches involved with integrating a hot lane into a chassis without making it too tall.

It would also allow someone to pressurise the main chassis with filtered air to keep dust and other nasties out, a nigh impossible task when one needs to worry about maintaining constant airflow over internal rads.

To a large extent, the pedestal does that and it's tightly integrated although it's limited to the size of the case
(and yes, there is a bigger one coming wink.gif ):

Aye. I am definitely interested in the extended version of the pedestal.

Do consider making an optional top panel for the vertically challeged folk amongst us that might want to operate the pedestal as a standalone unit
- it looks like it could well become one of the finest ready made radboxes on the market.

I might be wrong but it looks as if it would be possible to install the regular top right onto it using spare mounting hardware provided with the cases. I might be wrong but the holes look like they match up. wth.gif

Aye you might just be right. Thinking up something else for the radiator rack at the moment tho.

It involves an APC Netshelter 45U 2-post rack, a hacksaw and a pair of Black Ice SR1 560s smile.gif
