EDIT: So now I'm gonna short sell it on craigslist. and luckily I got a star trek game for free. So maybe i can sell that on craigslist too to recoup the loss of selling it short, and then buy a Core i5.
Whoa whoa whoa, if that CPU was brand new froma retailer you can return it!! That's what statutory rights are for!! Even e-tailers must accept returns!
You shouldn't need to mess around and tell them you wanted an i5 instead. Just call them, say you ordered the wrong CPU. Ask where to send it for returns and ask them how you'd go about getting an i5 instead. Most retailers will be happy to exchange a product if you're going to be spending more.
If you think you have no legal right to a return and refund on a brand new product you are selling yourself short!Edited by Viridian - 5/11/11 at 2:07am
