well I am able to upgrade my phone next week, I have $50 to spend, I was looking at the recertified hd7 or the new hd2, which do you suggest I get?

Also do these phones have wifi so I can connect to my wireless router and browse the web with wifi?

Thanks

Get the HD7 refurbished, as far as I know the exteriors of the phones have been replaced so it's going to look like new and your still covered by a warranty, right?

HD7. I had the HD2 and it wasnt anything special. The Windows version on it was very buggy and froze up a lot. The HD2 had wifi and im sure the HD7 does.

Refurb HD7 if both are same price

if you are willing to do a little software modding the hd2 can be the better phone AND load windows phone 7 on it. the hd2 is also a more solid phone, contruction wise, than the hd7.

Depends what OS/level of hackability you want on it really, the HD2 is flat out superior if your a tinkerer, you can install pretty much anything on it. If your fine with win mo 7 and not in the mood for tinkering then a HD7 is a brilliant phone as well. Your choice, it all comes down to how much tinkering your willing to do, everything else is pretty much identical between them.

hell, I don't mind tinkering at all, I loved experimenting with the PSP CFW, and custom .ipsw's for the ipod touch/iphone.. What all is the hd2 capable of? It would be nice if there was anything similar to the jailbreak, free apps, if apps even exist for window phones..

What do you guys think?

Thanks for the responses btw, keep em coming

HD2 it is then. Just have a look through here... its capable of a lot. I think the only OS's it can't run are iOS and OSX
