Wireless problems with Acer Aspire One

Thread Starter
Hello, I have an Acer Aspire One net book and I'm having issues with the wireless adapter I think. I have it set up to automatically connect to my wireless throughout my house, however the last few weeks I have to unplug the modem and router, let them reset before my net book will gain internet access to the server.

As soon as I turn on the laptop, it will connect to the service but say "limited connectivity." only after i unplug the power to the modem and router will the computer gain internet access. I have 2 other PC's that I have connected wirelessly(?) with out problems. Why am I running into problems with this net book?

Thanks
Jace

You have some problems with the wireless card, it could be faulty. I have the same problem with one of my laptops and quick-fix is to disable/enable the wifi card on your troublesome laptop - then it should connect just fine.
