Since the very early days of internet shopping this hasnt been true.
Its very rare to see a site without allowance for mistakes on pricing to be clearly outlined in the terms and conditions you agree to when buying.
If the mistake goes unnoticed and you get the item then great stuff but accepting payment for an order is very rarely legally binding.
