PhysX on 9500gt - Page 3

I would multi quote previous posts and reinstate the proof but its hardly worth it and it gets further away from OP,who has already got their answer.
Physx isnt worth it unless you have a pair or 3 nvidia cards and enable physx on the secondary or 3rd card.simple as.

Ronnin instead of getting abusive and fighting down other posters, proving your statements with stats might help strengthen your weak argument.

OP yes You'll be able to run physX with 9500GT and it will NOT slow down Your PC. I'm using GTX260 Lightning as PhysX processor for my 6950 TwinFrozr III and it runs excellent.

Listen, mate, it's really really simple.

If in a particular game PhysX slows you down, you disable it.

BUT

Running *with ingame PhysX* with PhysX card is always faster than *without* PhysX card
Running *without ingame PhysX* has absolutely the same FPS.

EVEN SIMPLER:

NO PhysX: 80 FPS -> 80 FPS
PhysX: 10 FPS -> 30 FPS
You just keep on failing.
1)you originally signified that a 3 year old low end gpu would not bottleneck. (see quotes)
2)You dont know the definition of "bottleneck".
3)you changed your argument.
4)you made up statistics to try and support your changed argument.
5)You assume the OP plays games with physx at 0 fps. , so you are comparing your made up 30 fps to 0 fps. Rather than comparing 80fps (without physx) to 30 fps (with a 9500gt), like any normal person.

Quite frankly you are a doughnut.

Ok, here you go, explained as detailed as possibly can:

On an Nvidia system, 1x 480 + 1x 9500
PhysX ENABLED

If you run only the 480, that card processes both the image and PhysX.
It is a very fast card, so you get 80FPS.
The game runs at 80FPS

If you run both cards, then the 480 processes only the image, with rate of 100 FPS.
The 9500 processes the PhysX with rate of 30 FPS.
The game runs at 30FPS

PhysX DISABLED

If you run only the 460, it processes only the image, with rate of 100 FPS.
The game runs at 100 FPS.

If you run both cards, 460 processes only the image, with rate of 100 FPS
The 9500 stays idle.
The game runs at 100 FPS.

On an AMD/ATI System, 1x 6870, 1x 9500
PhysX ENABLED

If you run only the 6870, EITHER the game does NOT run at all, OR
The 6870 processes the image at rate of 100 FPS, the CPU processes the game and the PhysX at rate of 5-10 FPS.
The game runs at 5-10 FPS.

If you run both cards, 6870 processes the image, 9500 processes PhysX at rate 30FPS.
Game runs @ 30FPS

PhysX DISABLED

If you run only 6870, it processes only the image @100 FPS.
Game runs @100 FPS.

If you run both cards, 6870 processes the image, 9500 stays idle.
Game *still* runs @100 FPS.

You are trying but but ultimately failing hard, since your point is null and void due to stats proving your opinion to be based on imagination not fact.
why bother?

look at my sig..... i HAVE an 8800gt and HAD a 9500gt for PHYSX and the 8800gt pretty much added 20fps onto whatever game i played with physx enabled. you seem to have never actually run the physx hack nor done it with an nvidia card. pls stop. you seem to not also understand the 9500gt cant render physx at 30fps in the first place. meaning BOTTLENECK!

I am 99% sure itll bottleneck.

The OP should just try it, he has nothing to lose apart from time.
So, you have copied exactly what I stated on the first page, which you claimed to be wrong.
And then you state "You are out of your league here".

You are not a doughnut anymore(its too good for you), you are spam .

Why are you comparing physx on without a physics card to it with a physics card? The OP doesn't use physics, he plays at a high fps. He needs a card that wont limit his fps that low and 9500gt is a waste of time. Maybe you like playing with low fps.
