Yes, I know.
I understand that.
What you guys don't seem to take under consideration is the option to disable PhysX!
I have played games with PhysX accelerated on a CPU. It runs @10 FPS tops.
Any PhysX card will do much better.
be smart, and compare *comparable*
You can't compare FPS with PhysX and FPS without PhysX and say the card is a bottleneck.
PhysX ON without 9500 VS PhysX ON with 9500
PhysX OFF without 9500 VS PhysX OFF with 9500.
Say you have a system with 1GB RAM.
Then you have a game, that @LOW consumes 900 MB RAM, @ULTRA consumes 2.5Gb RAM.
The game runs @60FPS
You add another stick - anoter 1GB RAM (just like he adds 9500GT)
And boost the settings to ULTRA.
The game now runs @30 FPS, because it needs 2.5Gb, and only 2 are available.
Would you then say that the extra RAM bottlenecks your system?
The FPS is lower, but you gain more features on screen. That's not bottleneck. It's just an intensive feature. OPTIONAL.
Just like PhysX.Edited by ronnin426850 - 5/11/11 at 4:45am
