Why do laptops always mess up ?

Ok heres my question - (dont know if its on the right furum thread or whatever)
but - i have built 2 tower pcs both custom , and i have owned around 5 laptops , both of the tower pcs have been working perfectly since i baught them but every single one of the laptops has either had the BSOD or got so slow that they are unusable
any comments ?

its probably because of the mechanical hard drive. it does after getting hit or feeling some shock over time.

get a SSD and dont worry about it

well for starters you are comparing computers you put together with high quality components to machines that have far lower quality components that overheat constantly and see much more physical handling and wear and tear

In my experience laptops are just as stable as desktops, unless you are handling them bad causing the hard drive to mess up. An SSD always solves that though.

i had a laptop that was given to me and it was hp and the fan would only spin when i turn the laptop on while it's out of it's case and I'm like *** so it must be having some kind of ground issue. When the laptop is all put back to normal the fan won't boot. Every person that I've ever met with and hp say's they have problems with it.

i've replaced 3 hdds in my laptop because i took it to class with me all the time. i went from seagate drives to WD drives and havent had a problem since

I think it's the heat, ther'es just no way to get good cooling in that small package. They croak all the time.
