How would you know about that?^^

I sold them and about to get Twin Frozr III 6950´s with the money just would like to resolve the issue if they are unlockable and if laser cutting is the only factor that decides the possibility of doing so and if it has a BIOS switch or not

This should pretty much resolve the TW3 unlock hype right?
And that sould clarify a little.

So I tried all kinds of different angles for the flash and none seem to show up in GPU-Z, I would note however the flash did work to extend the overclocking values in Catalyst so I suppose it is possible that the flash did work and GPU-Z is not showing the correct shader values.

1.)Does the 6950 Twin Frozr III have a BIOS switch?

2.)Is the performance difference between 6970 stock and TW3 stock really in the 5-6% area?

3.)Is it true that the overclockability of the TW3 is far superior to the other ref and non ref 6950´s ?

4.)MSI themselves state confirm an 11C cooling performance improvement compared to all other 6950´s ..is that really true?
4a.)Does the card really cool efficiently at a reasonably fair fan setting that isn´t too loud?

5.)is it true that in CF the TW3 shows more signs of instabilities than other brands of the 6950?

Of course I could answer and comment to all of that but I would like to remain neutral and let others participate so we can have a united oppinion
I am just here for hosting
1) No - it's just for the fans

2) Yes, definitely, unless you're going CFX, then TFIIIs suck because of their venting.

3) No not really, they just stay cooler and therefore get higher (so yes I guess) but the actual chip is the same.

4) Yea it's easily a 20c difference, with a good case you shouldn't need over 50% fan speed.

5) Not sure about that one, but I've had two reference ones and two TFIIIs and they are comparable in their instabilities, both had their usual CFX issues as any cards would.
