Hypothetical...

What would happen if you tried to power on your computer with the bios chip removed? Please, this is strictly hypothetical and I ask only to further my own knowledge. I can't tell you why one might want to, I'm just curious. Would it damage the board you think? Thanks

Just wouldn't boot that's all. I'd imagine the fans would just keep spinning non stop till youcut the power.
