Please help me pick one of these loop orders

Personally I would imagine that water coming right out of the rad would be cooler than water entering the rad. However there are many discussions about this and people think that loop order doesn't matter. Following are 2 orders I could go with:

1) Res - Pump - 120mm Rad - GPU 2 - GPU 1 - 120mm Rad - CPU - 360mm Rad
2) Res - Pump* - 360mm Rad - 120mm Rad - CPU - GPU 1 - GPU 2 - 120mm Rad

*The pump will be at the side of the res although the res will still be slightly higher. I'd need to tilt the casing to make sure water is being fed into the pump by gravity when running the loop for the first time.

I am also considering adding a 3rd GPU in the future.

1) Provides possible the shortest route but the difference would only be about a ft.
2) Provides what I believe the coolest water to the CPU first. A little inconvenient because I need to tilt the case to avoid running the pump dry.

Which is the better loop to go with? I am concerned about #1 because the GPUs can get very hot.

This ^ because:

It takes ~250W to heat water by 1°C at 1GPM.

Therefore the water is not going to be significantly warmer even after going through your GPUs.

Do you have enough room for a 240mm rad instead of two 120mm rads?

Not without modding the casing. I want to keep everything as-is and go with bolt on solution.

So let's say my 6970 is fully loaded - 300W on first gpu, 200W on second gpu. Water going straight into the CPU would be 2C higher. However, I'd imagine the rear rad could cool the temp down maybe 0.5 - 1C? It's an RX120 with a GT. I could do push pull but it would take up a lot of interior room. Haven't decided if the fan would be pulling air in or pushing air out.

The RX360 would be pushing air out the top.

There are mount brackets where you can mount large rads on the back of your case if you want to try that.
