I honestly quit because of the price. that was $16.19 I just didnt feel like paying anymore. I still love WoW with a passion & will go back if they drop the price to lets say 10 bucks.

Right now I play LOTRO & for Free its friggen awesome

I played it for like 4 or 5 days and never did get into it. I suppose coming from playing EQ is what ruined it for me. I was a hard core EQ veteran, played since the beta and up until about 3 years ago. Needless to say, I had pretty much burnt myself out on that type of MMO I suppose. That combined with growing older and more responsibilities, etc.

WoW is getting to that age that is will probably start losing its original player base and most of the new to the genre types will head to a newer MMO to start. WoW is destined to go down the same road as EQ, still around after two decades but down to its last leg. Just a matter of time.

I quit last month, just got so dang boring. Every tuesday was the same thing, get arena points. ZZZzzz. Maybe if our guild didn't fall apart I would of kept playing.

I wonder what would happen if Blizzard just randomly unveiled WoW II, hell I've never played WoW and I'd jump on it.

I got the same email about 2 or 3 months ago. I have never had a WoW account on my main email/battle.net account either. I did have a trial WoW account but on another email than the one they sent this one too. The only thing I have on the email they send it to was a battle.net account for a few other games. It was legitimate, or at least appeared to be in every way possible. I checked the header and did some digging and all appeared legit from them.

I never replied and my battle.net account is still fine, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I liked rift, but after 2 days of playing i realized i couldn't dedicate any time for gaming. it certainly did a lot better than WoW. but yeah, i stopped mmo's after playing LoL. was just a little more time efficient for me.

I've been playing for 5 years. Stuff gets repetitive every expansion pack.

1. Get to level cap, max professions, max rep with new factions
2. Farm dungeons to get gear for raiding
3. First tier raiding for that expansion and get gear
4. Second tier raiding, replace old gear with new
5. New expansion

I've done that cycle since vanilla. Gets boring after awhile.

I made some earlier posts on this i don't have problem with the monthly deal but, i want a month of play time not a month to play as it stands i do month a year. on top of that if we are paying monthly why is the copy of the game so gosh * expensive.

my request cheaper prices on the game and play time not time to play.

I didnt play WoW, played all 7 beta of RIFT from Autumn of 2010 though... must say its was too raw game for me. 1vs1 fights mostly, too man quests, bound to one location and many other stuff. I did like the Soul system, until i dicovered the "glitches" and "immortal" builds.
