done with wow, done with all the issues. Im happy for blizzard that they made a game that was so popular for so long but it wasnt ment to last forever...give it time...it will fall and something else will come along and take its place....hopefully..SWTOR
lol I do hope you know those are phishing emails and not from Blizzard...I get those all the time. Unless I severely misunderstood you and you really are just consciously responding to the phishers who reply back rofl

Is it truly dying? I wish.

WoW is a great game imo. If you have an addictive personality I would advise against it, but otherwise it can be a very fun game. I basically raided everything in WotlK, did a few a heroic raids with my guild, and had a blast. I had to quit for awhile after I hit level 85, so I haven't been able to play Cataclysm as extensively but I hope to get back in with my friends who still play when I finish building my sig rig.

Sorry.. why do you "wish" it to die?

Because you personally don't find it appealing? I can't understand this mentality. If you don't like WoW, don't play WoW. It just seems like negativity for the sake of negativity.

Most WoW players I know have switched to playing Rift.

I quit because of its cost. And I plan to stay that way because of the damn phishing emails I get constantly now.

It was legitimate, or at least appeared to be in every way possible. I checked the header and did some digging and all appeared legit from them.

I never replied and my battle.net account is still fine, so I wouldn't worry about it.
I get the same e-mail 3 to 5 times a WEEK! That's why I commented on it. Once, 2 or 3 months ago, is nothing but a fluke. An average of 4 times a week is blatant harrassment for no reason whatsoever.

As someone already stated, those are phishing emails. You have to understand how much money can be made in the WoW gold/account market, they'll work their hardest to harass you. There's not much Blizzard can do about preventing them from emailing you.

No, because WoW has become the template for MMO's, developers are afraid to innovate simply because every MMO gets compared with WoW.

WoW might be addictive, but that's only because it's one of those MMO's that have an instant gratification model, most of WoW's feature are simply not deep.
If you develop a game that has deep mechanics the the game is "too hard to appeal" or simply "unfinished".

WoW only learned us that a simply MMO can be pleasing because it appeals to virtually every gamer, casual or hardcore.

If WoW starts to die because the market is becoming saturated that would provide other more promising MMO's to flourish.

Did I just see someone defend WoW?

Seriously dude, everyone knows it's bad for you. WoW is the heroine of gaming.

If you have an addictive personality pretty much anything can be bad for you.

I was a class lead through vanilla and still got good grades in high school, socialized, and was active hiking and doing martial arts.

When I quit WoW, my productivity actually dropped until I cut back gaming time as well, since I could always be playing it on one screen while reading a research paper or working on an essay on the other, which just is not possible with more demanding games like FPSs or SC2 where I have to be concentrating and focused solely on the game if I want to be competitive.
