So I've going to be getting the rasa rx360 kit here soon and want to know what all im missing from the list so far

Rasa kit
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=30281

6x Arctic cooling F12's (cause GT's are always sold out...)
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...91ccf7f86ebbda

Feser UV white tubing (how many feet do I need? CPU+GPU eventually, just cpu for now)
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=27341

What else do I need? Killcoils ect. Will be getting DI water from work, how much should I grab?

Looks good, I tend to get 3m of tubing so about 9-10 feet. Just in case I make any mistakes or anything I have some spare, and it's so cheap anyway.

That tubing however is 1/2" ID, and wont fit the barbs that come with the rasa kit.

You should be looking at 7/16" ID tubing or 3/8" ID will fit those barbs too (though it'll be a bit of a stretch to get it on, shouldn't be too hard though).

Edit:
Scratch that, 1/2" tubing is fine, that's the barbs that are supplied with it, huh, you learn something new every day...

Not 100% sure about the fans, those aren't one I have seen before, but I'm sure they will perform ok.

I would get about 2 litres of distilled water, more can't hurt, and you will need a silver kill coil.

The Gentle Typhoons are in stock now. If you wanted those first then now is the time to grab them before they sell out again....

Ok cool, thanks much. Will be asking about how to actually fill the loop after I get closer to pulling the trigger. I can just throw the coil in the res right?

Ooo... are they really worth $7 more than the fans I posted above? Martin did a review on the arctics and they came out pretty good in cfm, noise and static pressure.

Bump on fan question. GT's really worth the extra $7 over the F12 I linked?

Nothing can really touch gentle typhoons at the noise level they put out. So if you need some serious performance at a low noise level, get the gt's. I personally like the ap-13/14. The ap-15 is too loud for my taste.

If you get the 1/2" tubing you will need some type of clamp. You can buy them from PPCs just make sure to get ones for 3/4" OD tube, personally I prefer the metal reusable type. Alternatively you can get worm drive clamps from most hardware stores, or you can even use zipties; cheap, effective but ugly.

edit: The kit comes with clamps, last time I checked it didn't. Either a recent addition or I just missed it the first time /edit

The kit includes 7/16" ID tubing with 1/2" barbs, the reason being that you can heat the end of the tubing slightly and force it over the barb for a clean look without needing clamps (example).

I use 7/16 tubing over a 1/2 inch barb with the supplied clamps that come with the rasa kit and it works fine. If you need to take the tubing off the barb you will have to cut it because it is a tight fit. You just have to shove the tube on the barb to get it to fit. I like the fact that its a tight fit, makes me more comfortable about it not leaking. But 1/2 tubing will work fine on 1/2 inch barb, but I would just make sure that you tighten the clips down pretty good.

As for the killcoil, You can push it into one of your lines but I have just drop mine into the res. That way I don't have to try and get it out of the line if I have to change something or fix a line for what ever reason.

For the fans. I use cheap rosewell fans that I bought like a year ago and they work pretty good. I use them because they are quiet and I have good temps so I don't feel the need to purchase other fans. But I have never used th ap's or gt's so I can't speak for them. I will pick some up eventually.

Only used Distilled water in the Rasa kits.

the TIM that comes in the Rasa kits is fairly poor, so you might need to get some good stuff.
