Or just time to skip HD's entirely and use solely SSD's. Which I eventually plan to do.

Price per capacity is the main reason I've held off on ssd. I have a 150gb boot drive right now and its just not enough to hold Windows and all of my games/programs. Whenever I do end up getting an ssd boot drive it'll have to be at least 250gb...

Same here, Windows AND Games mean much, much more than a 80GB SSD or anything like that. 250GB would work.

Anyways, I won't get a SSD before a while... I know the speed boost is tremendous, but nowhere near necessary to me right now.
By 2015 I'll probably be able to get one for a decent price ^^.

Managed to get my Kingston 64GB OS drive for $50 on sale at newegg for ~ 78cents/GB

These drives are getting cheaper really quickly - it isn't unusual to see them on sale for decent prices now...

Can't wait for them to be in the 25 cent/GB range - then it will be worth using one as a normal primary drive...
