MCR120 w/ AP-15 push pull VS RX120 w/ one AP15?

Can't decide what to put at the back of my case. I could go with either. MCR120 is 14fpi while RX120 is 8fpi. I can run two GT on the MCR and it will still be thinner than an RX120 with an AP15.

Is noise an issue at all? If not, then the MCR120 with push/pull should outperform the RX120 with a single fan. I'm not sure how much you'd gain though.

The RX with the AP15 would produce less noise...

RX would be quieter and probably perform on-par. The RX series are a lot better radiators than the 120. They're thicker, like you said. The lower FPI means they perform better with slower fans.

The difference between push/pull and one fan isn't that much at all, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't notice it.

If you aren't worried about space I would get the RX with 1 AP-15.
You won't see much temp difference though.

Please tell me what makes RX much better, they both dissipate about some amount of watts at same fan speeds.

The RX would be quieter due to the low FPI and single fan setup while still doing a good job with cooling.

However I still maintain that in push/pull the MCR would pull ahead in performance. It's very close to the RX (just a little behind) in most tests for single fans as it is. I believe Martin did a test that showed a noticeable improvement with Push/Pull, but I don't recall what rad he used in the test.

If the RX120 isn't much better than the MCR120, I don't mind going with just one AP15 with the MCR120. I'm not sure how loud they compare, though
