I have to respectfully disagree with you. Amazon agents themselves have time and time again promised me that it would be delivered by a certain date, not just my order status saying when it would be delivered. My rig has to be completed so I can work and earn a living on it (no, I'm not a self-proclaimed "pro-gamer").
I treated the CS chat agent (who are all outsourced to India by the way, 13/13 of my chat agents have had Indian names, not stereotyping) fairly, but sternly and showed appreciation when they made accommodations to my order. It is not fair consumer practice for Amazon agents themselves to ensure it will be shipped on a certain dates and they do not honor their word. I have every right to be upset when I make commitments to my business, that are reliant on them keeping their commitments.
