Im sure this issue has come up before...I searched through threads but didnt find anything...so heres the deal... I have my system OC'd to 4.0Ghz and its stable...I have GSkill DDR3 1600 @800MHz RAM (2x2GB). My mobo by default will run my RAM at 1333...which I know how to change and make it run at 1600 (which it should be at). But heres my issue....when I change my RAM to 1600 in BIOS...I cannot OC my CPU...any changes I make to my CPU Freq change the settings options for the RAM. At completely stock setting I can change it to 1600 @ 800MHz. Stock CPU freq for my processor is 200...so lets say I change my freq to 220 for a 3.6GHz OC from stock 3.2...suddenly my options go to like 1830 at 935 Mhz (ballpark guess) I guess my question is whats the relationship between the two and what do I need to do so I can OC my CPU and run my RAM at 1600. Thanks for the help!
