Asus p5kpl-cm + e5200 = oc problem - Page 2

First of all dont mess with your ram speeds. Try to keep them as close to 667 as possible. Your ram is not good for overclocking.

2nd: What clocks do you wish for? You already nearly have 1Ghz OC. Dont push it. These chips can certainly perform if you give them more voltage. But i dont think that this mobo supports it.

3rd: Check this guide out. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cpus/2008/12/22/athlon-x2-7750-vs-intel-e5200-oc-review/1

Thanks Gothiq !

I have another question, how can i increase cpu speed but to keep ram speed in place with this frustrating-limited mobo ?

Thank's.

HAHA yeah. Look at me, i am stuck too.

Only two things. Get better Ram or get a better motherboard.

There should be settings to select slower ram speeds. Like if it says 667, then there should be one slower setting too. I.e if my shows 800, it shows 667 too.

Memory speed goes up with FSB. Lower your memory speed to 533 or something. (If your mobo gives you the option)

god damn mobo...... seems like3.4 with 1088 ram... 272 x 12.5 is as far i can go without crashing my games. i can risk something if i keep this speed ? is not orthos or prime stable... i get error on ram memory. but cpu stress - no error.

@slowend... i dont have that option
