Looking for cheap AM2+/AM3 mobo ~90 U$D

[NewEgg or Amazon only please]

Guys, can you please recommend a cheap mobo for me? I hope that even if it's pretty cheap it would still be "decent".

I am looking for an around 90 USD mobo that supports AM2+ (where I will place my 9950 BE).

It should also take in my ddr2 ram (on sig).

I hope it is also at least compatible to a Ph.2 955BE just in case I'd find that option reasonable but the priority right now is that it should take in my 9950BE w.o problems.

-AM2+/AM3 (Ph 9950BE / PH2 955BE)
-DDR2 RAM support at least 800Mhz Dual Ch.
-1x PCI-E x16
-x4 Sata 2 or II (2nd gen not Sata 6gbps or III)

-some what "Decent"/"Will 90% work w/o hitch"/"etc." (basically opinions and preferences from you guys)
-brand new
-O.C.-ing is not a priority

----

My PC has again, suddenly stopped booting.

no screen signal, no USB power (optical mouse don't light up), but all case fans and gpu fan working.

OCN members are guessing it's either a PSU or MoBo prob.

Any suggestions or any other suggestions would be appreciated.

It's just that I wouldn't want to spend so much for a "dying" system.. but instead add more budget to a SB build or BD build.. yet want to try to revive this one.. even for just another month..

Thanks in advance.

That would be very very tough
There are barely any AM2+ mobos on sale now for new, much less safely capable of running that 9950 which should be a 140W TDP or so

Really, at that budget, the only options available are cheap ones that do not even support 125W CPU.
Best bet: OCN marketplace. I saw an ASUS M4A785-M go for $40 shipped there lately.

It appears to support 125W TDP (though not 140W), but I do not recommend it at all.
MSI boards have the most VRM problems with 125W processors, buying that board for a 9950 or 955 would be just about suicide. This is do to the overall VRM system quality, use of NIKOS MOSFETs in CPU VRM area, ineffective cooling/overheating problems, and lack of OCP to prevent catastrophic failure.

AWWW MAN!.. Thanks anyway.. changed my budget to around 90 USD.

I hope there's a solution xD

Is this the only hope for me sir?

I know it's MSI though But at least it says it supports 140w 9950 BE and DDR2

That is a 3+1, significantly more unsafe
Also, cooling on MSI VRMs is moot... they can overheat and blow despite sadly, has happened on many MSI models including their top end GD70s which use 4+1 phases
I'm not recommending it
Some newer MSI mobos with 8+2 phase are actually pretty decent

Taawwwww.. will it be okay though if i never OC?

btw, my system's fine again atm... seems like one of the 4pin molex connectors to the MoBo was barely connected.. I was dismantling the rig and noticed it 1/6 of the way LMAO!

Do not get an MSI board. End of story.

After we struggled to bring life to that PC now is dead ?!

I would go for a Gigabyte UD3 board. As you don t need overclocking you can get something like

GIGABYTE GA-870A-USB3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128485

GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128443

LE:
And make sure it has a black CPU socket to be further compatible to Bulldozer.
Also keep in mind this are AM3 boards.
You should also buy a new CPU ,some Phenom 840 or Athlon 640/645 would be much better than the 9950 ,which may be very well dead.
Go and get new stuff.

xD Well i was about to dismantle the pc yesterday and noticed that the 4pin molex to the mobo was barely connected.. at least it's alive now..

If I were to get a phenom now, id rather pick up an i3 2100 xD and build from that.. iirc it's better than a x4 965 stock vs stock (don't wanna oc for at least a year with a new system.. traumatized xD).. or are low end phenoms and high end athlons are secretly better?
