Xonar DX Mic in only left channel accepts audio

Thread Starter
Previously both the left and right channel worked but now suddenly only the left channel has sound, and the right channel has barely any sound. I've tried using another computer, different mics, different cables, reinstalling drivers, etc, but for the life of me I can't find out why the right channel suddenly "broke" in my DX.

Help?

1. check drivers to see if both channels are full "ACTIVE"
2.make sure cables are firmly in their connector sockets.
3.take out card and unplug setup and put together (makes it more simple)

Both channels work, it's just that the right channel is a lot quieter than the left.

I'll try #2 and #3 right now

if you have tried different computer and different cables , reinstalled drivers and the problem still exist , then the headset/speakers has failed

well, that's my opinion , I may be wrong

I think it's the actual mic in jack that is faulty. My headphones work fine.
