Zotac amped GTX480 cooling solution

I like this card and its currently OCed and idle temps are about 40c and load temp is 90c after a min of furmark 1080 preset. Now this to me sounds high and that's only for one min. If I let it run longer it would prob keep going up. Now I have the haf x so there's a 200mm fan blowing air directly onto the gpu but I don't think its helping as much.
Id like to try watercooling at a budget price. Or a better cooling solution if you have one. Id like to keep it in the 80s but that may be wishfull thinking. Let me know your sugestions.. thx

The amped version is the one with the two fans on it already, right?

Those fans should be keeping them cool though you may want to make sure you have sufficient exhaust to pull the hot air out of your case to keep the temps inside down.

You could also try turning the fans higher, if they are set on AUTO.

I have it set to user auto. So when I start playing a game it kicks up to 100%. But even still its around 90c. That's OCed of course... I'm looking into a better case cooling idea.

That kind of bites, sorry dude.

My 480 has an AXP hooked up to it and it idles usually around 31-33c and on load will go to mid-60s, low 70s.

I've got a 140mm case fan that is bringing in cool air that is directly hitting about 20% of the end of the card. That MIGHT drop it down a little but not drastically.

If the Zotac is a ref. board, look into the AXP.

I already have the zotac amped gtx480. I was just wondering if an aftermarket air cooler would be any better...
