Its not discountinued they just delayed the release date in USA because of the problems with 800dpi. Here its available everywhere

I have used so many different mice it doesn't bear thinking about, honestly I would not buy another razor product unless they pull their act together, the build quality has gone seriously downhill the last few years and the competition has just got better and better.

If you can pick up a g9 cheap on sale I dont think you could ask for a better claw grip mouse, but even something like the mx518 can be clawed pretty well and is cheap as chips not to mention its built like a tank.

The Abyssus is an excellent, no frills mouse for the price. If the Spawn becomes available in the US, it will fit in the price point between Abyssus and G9x. A lot of claw grippers like the SteelSeries Xai, as well. You can also get a Lachesis for around $50-60 these days.

Its cool that you're enjoying your new mouse but when recommending it to others make sure you mention that the sensor is awful. Flaws include huge amounts of positive acceleration, huge amounts of prediction and a mediocre malfunction speed.

Oh and the plastic feet that don't glide on cloth pads.

Hey now, the acceleration was a "feature", remember?
