I love my Abyssus, although the newegg picture makes the texture look matte, but it's really glossy. I still like it, my only gripe would be it's weight (feels a bit ligh), but it's not a high-end mouse anyway.

EDIT: realized there were two editions. but still a great mouse.

Lol what?
The 518 is larger and more suited for palm although you can claw it if it suits you. I personally use a DA with a claw grip and it works just fine for me.

I'd definitely recommend the DA, it's the best mouse I've owned so far in terms of tracking performance and feel.

deathadder ain't a claw grip mouse, try the abyssus or lachesis even tho the lachesis is kind of overpriced.

You guys sure you don't use a finger tip rather then a claw? Claw and finger tip are easily mixed up.

If you do have a claw grip, and not a finger tip, you want a light mouse. Try the abyssus. But the lack of side grips is a little lacking. The sides are too curved too. Meaning you'll pick up your mouse by accident though. You want your sides to be flat at the bottom...if you get what I'm trying to say.

You can use the DA with a claw grip, just because it's made for a palm grip doesn't mean you can't use a claw grip with it.
I don't know much about the abyssus so I won't comment but the Lachesis is a mouse that I also own and I really dislike it. Sure you can claw grip it but I found myself digging my ring and pinky fingers into the side buttons which was fairly uncomfortable. Also the mouse had z-axis tracking problems and it was just a pain to deal with, firmware and driver updates attempted to correct that issue but I was still experiencing problems with it so I stopped using it.

Going through all the suggestions on OCN can give you a headache sometimes.

Have you looked at the Kinzu? Its the right form factor (just has bad reviews for it's sensor). Also its sub $60. I was thinking about purchasing this when I was in the same budget as you (I had to move up, there doesn't seem to be decent finger grip mice under $60). Xai is supposedly a bit better (though people still complain about it) but its slightly bigger.

I strongly suggest the G9x from experience (though mine is going back for warranty) but I know thats out of your budget.

The Deathadder is too big for me for finger gripping but I do have small girly hands. I can claw it but for finger gripping I get way too much fatigue on my wrists.

If the Spawn was out, I would have bought it.

Good luck on your mouse adventures! Wish somebody would release my prefect mouse.
