Don't do wireless since the signal won't be 100%, if you can go hardwired it would be ideal but you have to remember you can't have a cord longer then 50ft. Powerline adapters are a lot better now since the release. I have no issues streaming 1080p files from my 10/100 network.
EDIT: From WP, "According to the ANSI/TIA/EIA standard for category 5e cable, (TIA/EIA 568-5-A) the maximum length for a cable segment is 100 meters (328 feet)." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category_5_cable.
After that, it will still work. That's just signal degradation.
