Surely their numbers are retail, not diy builder prices.

I have a hard time believing the 4 core will be more than a 2500k, even if it performs a little bit better in non-gaming situations.
I don't see the 8 core FX cpu's being under 399.99. Maybe even a tad more.

Im gonna say the 8 core will go for around $349.00 to
$379.00 at first just to get it in the hands of users .

6 core $279.00 to $329.00 , and this may be over pricing them a bit, just think of all the factory built PC's there gonna be put in !

thats my guess any way , savin pennies for the 8 core i am. It will be mine !

I mean whats your gpu going to be a 9800GT for $50 with a low end $100 board and crappy PSU? What about screen.
$700? Sure you can. A $100 board doesn't have to be crappy. You just won't be getting a high-end GPU at that price point (granted for OEM's, a GTX 460 is already high-end). That pricing is probably paired with a $100 HD 6670 or something. If they're showing system prices, then it's probably based on pre-builts (w/o monitor).

My guess:
4-core: $180 (i5-2300)
6-core: $220 (i5-2500K)
8-core: $290 (i7-2600)
8-core P: $320 (i7-2600K)

If you can even call it a GPU,HD3000 cannot even play 1080P.
Anyway, having the 2500K on a H67 board would be pointless, you need the P67 chipset to overclock.

I would assume, based on logic, that the 8 core version would be nearly twice as fast as the 4 core version assuming heavy multi-threading. However if the graph is correct there is probably only a 50% price increase for it.

Which would mean if you do any sort of multi-tasking the 8 core chip is miles ahead of the 4 core chip in price vs performance.
