4 pin CPU Coolers

Hi

I hope you guys and girls here can help me with finding 4 pin CPU Coolers. At frozencpu there is virtually none listed with the info if they are 4 pin, so I presume there all 3 pin?

The only one i know of is "Titan Fenrir Universal CPU Cooler (TTC-NK85TZ/V2)"

I don't want a adapter to make it 4 pin, as ASUS 1366 boards need a true 4 pin for the bios to regulate the fan, or with Asus Fan Xpert won't be able to calibrate the cpu fan.

I have Rampage Extreme III and my young fella has a Sabertooth x58 and brother in-law same as me, so I'm after getting 3 cpu coolers in one go and definitely don't want to get things wrong by getting the wrong cooler for them.

Not sure if links are allowed, copy and paste to browser, would really like the "COGAGE TRUE Spirit" but unsure of the pins, like just about all cpu coolers, there's very few that give the info on there pins
hardocp.com/article/2009/07/23/intel_core_i7_heatsink_roundup_q309/5

I'm aware I can use one of the motherboards fan plugs, but then you can't calibrate it(Fan Xpert) the way I want, pc probe looks off, and it does have to be disabled in bios not to monitor the cpu any more, and that does worry me, if it ever had a problem, its only my pc I would be able to keep a eye on. The other 2 pc's would be at the risk of the user picking it up, and that is a bit likely with my 8 year old son(he's with his mum), i cant keep a eye on it

Really appreciate any kind of info, thanks

One way to tell is to look for the letters PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). Also,if you look under the Specifications tab on FrozenCPU, the Titan Fenrir shows a variable RPM range (800 ~ 2150 ± 10% RPM) which means the fan has a 4-pin PWM. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/92...l=g48c373s1232
The product page will also usually give that info. Look at the third picture down on the right to see the connector - http://www.titan-cd.com/product/show...sp?ProID=341#5
You can also check out reviews, as they will both list that info and have pics - http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/artic...r-Review/922/3

if your budget allowas $70 get a silver arrow. Its (one) of the best on the market. the thermalright ty-140 fans (4 pin PWM) have some of the best noise/cfm ratio of any fan. The only competitors are the Noctura nh-d14 and the thermalright archon. The archon might come with the ty-140 fan too.

check those out if you have that kind of $$

I love my Silver arrow
