There is dialogue, unlike Splinter Cell. Random pedestrians can also be "interacted" with in the sense that they speak and you don't. In practice, that works out much better than it sounds; it adds to the atmosphere and is better implemented than in other games.

I just experienced a silly glitch that totally derails your ability to complete the "Cloak and Dagger" side mission.
So I have completed my checklist except for the "neutralize all mcb opposition" check mark. I knocked everyone out in the building within the MCB hide out. The mission arrows still showed there was something to do in the building though, and it seemed the arrow wanted me to go one floor above the 4th floor hide out, which I can find no way to reach. I gave up and googled "neutralize all mcb opposition" and found that people are saying its a glitch, one of the gang members spawns in the wrong spot. Can't complete the mission or get the XP without taking him out somehow. Some people have said you can shoot through the ceiling or make a lot of noise which draws him out to make him accessible via the fire escape. Haven't tried to see if that would work, but sucks to put in the time for a side mission and not get the prize at the end. No one on OCN has had this problem other then me?

Hmm... which augmentations should I go for?

I have five Praxis points saved up and I just finished the mission where you retrieve the neural hub from the morgue. About to get picked up by Malik by the antenna. I'm more or less trying to play stealth.

Splinter Cell meets Metal Gear, meets Dead Space futuristic atmosphere, meets James Bond, meets Battlefield pistol in the air while running animations, meets Harrison Ford's firewall, meets[insert moar here]

It's an interesting game and challenging game. What kinda ruined it for me was the bad code design/ inevitable stuttering(majority of users are having these problems), clunky controls(srsly mouse wheel to zoom your weapon?) , lack of nice and steady weapon progression(like Re4). Like they literally just keep throwing away weapons at your disposal, and then you're forced to micro manage everything for ever, till you're sure which one you'll keep and which one you want to drop. What's even funnier is This is a FPS game, but i felt even the 360 controller or a normal gamepad was suited better for this; if you're willing to digest the horrid accuracy. And of course they're going to give you ammo for weapons you don't own, of course they're going to give you an energy bar, when something like an emp gernade would have been 10x more beneficial for that stage. I could go on about the things i love, but then there's going to be a con or two around the corner, and I know people don't like reading Wall QQ's.

The textures, lighting, narrow corridors, bloomy scenery may have looked neat and sharp, but the graphics were just plain out awful(stop lying to yourself, you know this is true). I was going to be that picky, snub-nose s.o.b from OCN on this thread who uninstalled within 5 minutes, but I am really glad i kept going. This game was designed to ruin your life if you don't know what you're doing, but it's amazing naturality and rewarding/strategic moments is what makes gameplay earth shattering addictive. There's a lot of things i liked, and quite a few things that i despised. Still, the game is def worth the $50 price tag.

If you guys haven't yet seen the new episode of Two Best Friends Play, where they go through parts of Deus Ex: HR, I highly recommend it for the sheer amount of laughs. I'd link it, but profanity and such.

What? I'm back in first Detroit and now shanghai? Sounds like they are just milking environments they already made and reusing them. Gimme a new hub!

RE4 sucked. I don't know but the mouse and keyboard is working fantastic in this game for me.
