As far as RAM in concerned 8GB isn't really necessary esp if that's pulling from your graphics card, cut it in half and invest the difference in the graphics

Yup 750 should still give plenty of O.C. overhead, of course this is the pot calling the kettle black *looks at system*

Based off of this and the fact that he doesn't have a LN pot I would say yes.

I would also drop the THERMALRIGHT silver arrow, for a Scythe Mugen 2, but thats just me.
Its great for the price point imo.

Seeing everyone's recommendations, I will definitely upgrade to a 6950 and maybe even a 6970 & also drop the silver arrow for the 212+

I should mention the I plan to use this computer as general purpose: gaming, work (photoshop, some video editing) and entertainment (HD movies).

I have a few questions:

1) In regards to RAM, is the any benefit at all for going with 8gb?

2) Also, can somebody explain to me the whole HDD, SSD's sataIII thing?

Thanks
Glad we could help you out, regarding your questions;

1) You will not benefit at all for going up to 8GB of RAM for Gaming, no benefits really.

2) The SSD's are waaaaaaaaaaaay faster than traditional HDD's, however, they are very expensive. If all you do is gaming, an SSD is not really needed, just get a Caviar Black 750GB or 1TB and you're set.

We already told him about that, but a Cooler Master Hype 212+ instead.

From what i've read, your original choice in HDD's is a really good drive, and is about half the price of a WD Caviar Black, so i suggest sticking with that...

In regards to PSU's, if you are planning to go Xfire at all in the future, an 850w +80 (Gold/silver rating) PSU would be advisable, but if you aren't planning Xfire, then a 650w should be all you need (+80 Gold/Silver rating)

Cheers,

Ishi
