Yes it have, but it can switch to x1 when ASRock P67 EXTREME6 use PLX chip to supply 4 lanes to it all time.
Given it also use better caps, have 2 more sata 3 and USB 3 ports I would go for Asrock.

I had same dilemma but in the and went with ASRock Fatal1ty P67 PROFESSIONAL at end as it cost only 10$ or so more here, expecting delivery today.

i love my 2600k, but i should have been smart and bought a 2500k and used that 100 bucks for something else.
