Monitor connection to SLI

Thread Starter
Ok guys....this is such a noob question....please be gentle lol. I havent gone sli before and am going to in the near future. Anyway, when i connect a single monitor to the hdmi/mini hdmi connectior, do i have to connect it to a specific one, or any of the gpu's as they are in sli mode? So sorry to waste your time with this but i wont know unless i ask lol.

for simple gaming/office your fine. back in the day it mattered for folding.

For a single card, and dual monitor, you can control which monitor is main by which plug its plugged into on video card, bypassing the need to ever manually set it in windows.
