I updated the drivers yesterday to the most current ones, I was looking over the nvidia control panel and noticed that its not HDCP compatible any longer, not that this is a big deal, i don't think, but I wonder why it would suddenly say its not compatible.

I've had this problem with every driver after 186, on both my 8800GT and GTX465.
It randomly shifts between recognizing the display as HDCP compatible & not HDCP compatible.

Just use your computer as per normal for a few days and check again.

It is driver related, seems to break randomly. But, it only matters if you're attempting this,

It just means if you have a BluRay drive in your pc and tried watching a BluRay disc based movie via HDMI/DVI to a flatscreen HDTV it wouldn't be able to establish a connection for the encryption to decrypt on-the-fly so you'd simply see a blank screen or something along those lines. The same for your monitor too, realize it doesn't matter about HD videos itself, it specifically means trying to watch anything from a retail BluRay disc itself as the encryption would still be there and an HDCP connection would be needed to decrypt the picture.
