Thanks.

Let's see if I have luck and today I get the GTX570, then try disabling two cores. Let's see what happens....

While I acknowledge that these boards are assplosion prone, if you properly install some thermal tape on the heatsink and actively cool it, (I use an Antec Spot Cool), you may not have much trouble. I have a 1090t at 4.2 GHz with 1.49v in an MSI 790FX-GD70 and it has been going strong since I bought the hex in Feb 2010, and for 6 months before that with a quad. Folding 24/7 for that matter, too. That's like a 15 month stress test, and it has survived.

Thanks.

You say you change that has installed thermalpads for thermal paste?

I'll grab you the link to what I used. MSI boards, in my experience, have very bad assembly from the factory and need the sinks all reseated or upgraded when you buy them. So I did it as a matter of principle when I bought mine.

I understand, At home I have a sheet of 5x5 cm thermalpad.
But you think that if you change this, not to exploit the motherboard?...

Sorry, I have a very bad English ....

I am now confused.
The chips on the motherboard burned because a 6-core CPU asks too much voltage, or burn, even heat?

Palca could disassemble the base and see how are the thermalpads of MOSFET etc ...

But it is not quitaráel electrical noise that is .... and that's what worries me most ...

The electrical noise, from my experience is a very bad sign. My Gigabyte 760G board (3+1 power phase) made a similar noise, although not very loudly. 5 hours later, I had a fire on my hands in my garage. That board took my CPU, RAM, PSU, and itself with it.

I wouldn't trust that particular MSI board with any 125w chip at all, let alone an x6.

As much as I hate advice like this, I agree. The Biostar 890FXE is such an awesome board, even with an x6. My exact build before this i5 was going to be a 1090T + 890FXE. Canceled the order, and refused delivery so I could order the i5 though.
