Quick question about WD HD live Wire.

Thread Starter
I need to buy a power-line kit because I'm sick of wireless for my desktop. Unfortunately the configuration of my house doesn't allow for a wire to the fished through the sealing. On the other hand I also need to keep WiFi for all the laptops.

I'm looking at this kit: http://ncix.com/products/?sku=55237&...%20WD%20Retail

Several reviews rate this as the best power-line adapter kit on the market.

My router only has two ports (LAN/WAM), and my WiFi only has one.

My question is, can I connect my router into the HD Live Wire and then plug my WiFi into the same kit and everything will work A OK ?

hmmm....I think you should be able to do that....but why use wires when you can go wireless? You should just get a router and it has ports for connecting wired and also feature wi fi for your laptops. Try looking at the cisco routers.
