Segmentation Fault on server

Thread Starter
I operate a CS 1.6 server and after the recent steam update I am getting a "Segmentation Fault" every day a few times at least. It crashes the server. I know it's a very general error, but I can't find the cause. I did update the HLDS but that didn't do anything. Any suggestions?

Some causes for seg faults:
-attempting to execute a program that does not compile correctly. Note that most compilers will not output a binary given a compile-time error.
-a buffer overflow.
-using uninitialized pointers.
-dereferencing NULL pointers.
-attempting to access memory the program does not own.
-attempting to alter memory the program does not own (storage violation).
