Confirmed NOT working on my non-rooted DroidX with Gingerbread. I installed the .apk and it looks like it's going to work, but no video ever displays.

Netflix on iPhone + long highway drive + windshield mount = ????

now for all you idiots that couldnt read before and cry that it wouldnt work now you can try with one of those links. in all seriousness people need to learn how to read before posting and say hey im stupid i cant read im gonna complain about something that not suppose to work on my phone but i didnt know that cause i couldnt be bothered to read. please people lets be smarter then that when people do stupid stuff like that it makes me said as person.

my 2 cents is that this is a good business plan spreading out netfix more on different devices its genius they will make more money from this. some people will thinks its stupid other will like but in the end its smart business and a way to make more money. movies anytime anywhere now from your phone only real draw back is the seize of the screen. this and various other reasons is why netfixs beats the crap outta blockbuster even though blockbusters deals are better and they offer more.

1. netfixs has superior marketing.
2. spread cross multiple platforms example (tv,phone,pc, gaming consoles, etc)
3. netflix can be use anywhere there is internet
4. Cheap
5 ???
6 PROFIT!! lol

with little cons it hard for them to go wrong
hell there even talks that cable companies are losing tv subscribers cause of netfixs its funny most likely this the wave of the future.

hey mr i just signed up here. how about you give respect to earn it?

dont assume i posted and didnt read anything. i did read. what i dont understand is why it doesnt it work for the galaxy s lineup, when the galaxy s lineup is one the best, if not BEST, android phones out there. what i dont understand is why netflix decided to leave it out.

I watch movies every time I have to drive somewhere. On todays agenda: Watchmen, just watched 1st 40 mins. Unlimited data ftw ><<br />
What else is there to do while you drive without youtube/movie sites? You'll probable go insane if you have to sit there staring at your steering wheel for 30 mins like a dumb.

I only watch movies when driving 2 hours or longer. Even then, I stick to documentaries that are more audio then visual, or cartoons like family guy. Following an action film on a iphone screen while driving is suicide.

Yes, but you can only face 1 way with a tv. With a phone, you can lay on your side, back stomach, under the blankets, whatever.
Also if your in a dorm with other room mates, they may not appreciate the TV being on.

Yes a TV is "better" just not always the most convienient.

True about the whole dorm/roommate thing. I didn't htink about that since it has been many years since I have had to worry about that. But as for laying in whatever position, to me I dont get that. Still would much rather watch a movie on a 40in lcd in 1080p than a 4.3in phone screeen. I can see the tv if i'm laying on my back, sides, and if i want to lay on my stomach i can just flip so I'm facing my tv tongue.gif

And Duckie, be a man and control your remote!!!!! JK my gf tries to get me to watch that stuff with her... but my tablet makes it so I dont have too!
