sorry for the triple post, but you may aswell get a phenom 955 its only $5 more that the i3 and has twice as many cores...plus its a black edition
That's kinda of a tough decision to make me and my friend really like intel and tweaking systems and I heard you cant OC AMD too good.
Is it really that much better then the SB i3?
Thanks

AMD's oc fine.. and anyways on a $500 build you cant be TOO picky really... its a quad core and many people still buy it, i think its viable..

I always refer to these benchmarks whenever I am curious of overall performance.
I havent had any problems Ocing my 955 infact I think it Oc's quite well, but I have yet to OC an intel so I cant really say how they compare.

Based on benchmarks the 955 isnt a ton better, but the 955 does have 4 cores which I think would make it superior for folding and gaming.

Yea it was a popular mobo esp when they first came out.. its suitable..

Also i wouldnt get that PSU, 380W? That might be enough but you dont want it running on 90% load the whole time(overexxagerating here obv) but you should look into something like this:
