The UD3H has a 4+1 power phase design which I want to avoid like the plague. See: http://www.overclock.net/amd-motherb...ence-list.html

The UD5 goes for ~$175 which is waaaaaay out of my budget. I said before that I was looking to stay around $130, but the M4A89GTD is $150 and thats as high as I'll go. If I had a bigger budget, I'd definitely look at the UD5.

Thanks for the suggestions though!

Don't buy an 880g chipset board if you wanna overclock as they mostly don't have enough mosfet cooling for the board to handle the oc...Other than that, any mobo coice is ok if you're not going to overclock...but this is overclock.net
This means, don't buy the asus M4A88LT...

The UD3H has a thread here on the forum. Many say it s an excellent mobo.3.1 version it is also Bulldozer ready. It has 4 phases but it s strong and well made.It s not a MSI 4+1 so it s safe.
But do as you wish.

The ASUS M4A89GTD has 8+2 phase design and if you don't want the USB3 you can get a non USB3 version for like $140 ($10 off). The local store near me has the USB3 version for $140 and the non USB3 version for $130 but I know now why the prices are so cheap...

-Edit- The non USB3 version may be a bit hard to find but its out there and if you really don't need USB3 and are willing to spend some time looking for one to save that money, its definitely out there although I think it may be discontinued.

Tweeky-- that M5A88-V is having me drooling. $130, with HDMI and possibility of upgrading to BD when it comes out? I like!

It should fit Athlon II/Phenom II cpu's as well? If so, that's my future board.

The Athlon II/Phenom II cpu's will fit and work in the M5A88-V just fine
I am putting a AMD Athlon II 640 in it until the BD's come out
