Installing Win7 to raid.

Thread Starter
I just got an Asus Rampage Formula x48 and I'm trying to setup a raid. I have the raid setup and it appears in the bios, boot selection, raid utility, the drive install option when installing windows and even in Gparted under Ubuntu. But for the life of me can't get it to install. I have tried the drivers from Asus website fro my board. Driver ver 8.9.0.1023 to be exact. When I click load drivers it says they can't be found. I don't have to original disks just the board. So I'm using a USB drive.

Please help. I'm starting to get frustrated.

As in, your drive won't show up during the drive selection screen? Are you sure you set up the array correctly?

No when I go to load the drivers I get the "No device drivers were found" error. It's acting like I don't have the driver on my flash drive. I know I do. I can browse through the folders.

the drive is there I just can't install to it

Well I managed to figure it out. Only have drives in the raid plugged in. I had a thrid drive plugged in that wasn't in the raid.
