Having trouble setting up bitcoin

Thread Starter
My friend and I are going to look into bitcoin mining but I can't seem to get the download working, I found a guide: http://www.newslobster.com/random/ho...ins-on-windows however in the later steps it tells me to add the -server extension and when I do bitcoin no longer works and I have to reinstall. Alternatively when I try to boot from the Daemon folder it gives me the error that libeay32.dll is missing from my computer, is this error coming from the fact that I am running a 64 bit version of windows?

Alright, seeing as its a legitimate system for generating a real currency I don't see why they would prevent discussions of it. I'll stop posting if a mod messages me or something. I fixed the libeay32.dll issue because that is a file I simply have to move between bitcoin.exe or the daemon folder, does anyone know if I have to use the -server extension to gpu mine?

You should go to the Bitcoin forum; the management here has decided for better or worse to ban discussion of Bitcoin.
