Dont forget.. even if you have lossless audio files you need the right headphones =] not those apple.... stock headphones lol..

30mb per file sounds about right but wow it sounds so nice on my headphones Monster turbine Pros Copper edition. i know i know alot of people dislike monster but their headphones are actually highly recommended from audio professionals.. and you could get a pair for 50% (genuine) off at certain places

IMO the HTC phones looks so nice. it will make heads turn.

I despise it because of how limited it is the 3rd party apps are completely isolated and even as soon as I jailbroke it I knew i could never use stock again and now being beyond that with a rooted android I can't believe I was even able to deal with a jailbroken iPhone. Kinda like the Myth of the Cave

I do see where he is coming from though.

Each have their own pros and cons, and if android has an enjoyable music exp. I think i found my first smartphone.

HTC's definitely have as good build quality as an iphone. They feel solid and well constructed with no flex or play with the chassis or buttons.

You need to check out the NEW Super Amoled + screens from the samsung galaxy s2 coming out in q3 2011 and out in other countries right now. new HTC andriod phones will be release with QHD 4.3 while samsung has their vibrant screens zzzz so hard to pick higher Pixels or better color

Given the fact that you're actually on this forum I'm pretty sure I can safely say you're more than tech savvy enough to enjoy the freedom without getting owned by it

Not really sure how to respond to the last part of your post. Being that the thread was created in order to get a comparison of iphone vs. android from a music player stand point. I feel like you might be a bit confused and just came in the thread in order to jump all over an apple product just for the sake of doing it.
No I was just looking in and saw people saying the iphone has great quality blah blah. The fact is that it doesn't. The only android phone I have used was a droid x and I wanted to tear my ears off listening to the music compared to my zune hd, and that was just with my stock paper '98 honda speakers. My buddies samsung focus was pretty decent, not the best but I couldn't complain. Maybe you could look into windows phone 7. He now has a 3GS again and it bothers me how bad the sound is. Just go down to best buy or something and test all the phones out for yourself. Sound is subjective so maybe you will be happy with an iphone. lol I like typing lol
