I like the game. I liked BF2 as well. In fact, I have more time in BF2 online than I do in BC2 but I feel like BC2 is much more rewarding since I now have co-workers that play with me.

I paid $40 for the game and full price for both SPECACT and Vietnam. It was worth it.

While not everyone loves it, I can't stop playing BC2. <3

To me it is the best fps that has came out recently, and yes I thought tf2 and cod games are terrible.

I'm confused as to why people say that BF is based on camping, doesn't have any depth and "all you do is X" (like above guy complaining about medic) just to praise COD. BF is what you make it. COD isn't. COD is far more limited in ways of playing, is 100% camping based (the defender ALWAYS has the advantage in any FPS game, what did you expect?), doesn't need teamwork and has so many GL/martyr/last stand in public games that it's almost unbearable. Really, complaining about GL's in BC2? They're far from efficient in the large maps.

Not to say that COD is a bad game (COD4 is definitely my all time favourite and I play BO competitively), but BFBC2 is, with some good friends, so much more fun and rewarding.

Thats because it probably looks like a slideshow on that calculator of yours.

I've tried numerous times to get into the Bad Company 2 multiplayer, but I just flat out don't have fun with it. One match, I'll clean house even though I suck, and then another, I'll get absolutely raped, with seemingly no in between. COD4 (HC) is still my one and only online multiplayer vice. My scores are consistent, the feel of each match I jump into is similar, and campers get f-ed up pretty quickly. Very rarely happen across cheaters/hackers. My only real gripe is that the Claymore's can get annoying. I'll still try going back to BFBC2 every now and then. I should mention though - I would never even think about using a headset, or even really big into team play, so maybe BFBC2 just isn't my thing. Singleplayer (on PC, console sucked) was good though.

I've played BC2 for a long time and I have games where I have absolutely no luck and then some games where I find the exact right spot and can get 3-4 kills per death.

I think BC2 is less of a twitch shooter and your positioning matters a lot more. Also, get friends to play with you and use voice chat, because it makes a huge difference. One coordinated squad can often dominate a pub.

I'd say I have my games' worth from BC2. It's loads of fun. I have roughly 730 hours in it.
