Sorry, when I said "memtest," i was referring to memtest86+
Not memtest in windows (HCI). Though I think that was sort of clear when I mentioned using it to see if windows would load without corrupting the FAT.

Right, yeah. I've ran both at this point. At rated speeds, 86+ passed, HCI didn't. Not enough of an indication to narrow anything down I'm guessing.

I set the PLL to 1.88v, VTT to 1.12 and the Vcore to 1.33v. The RAM is now set at 1333. It passed basic stress tests, I only gave it an hour prime, ten IBT passes and a Memtest pass. But I'm pretty much just gaming on this anyway. I also flashed the BIOS to F4 final.

So far it hasn't blue screened in the 12 hours it's been up.

I set up the RMAs for the CPU and the RAM. I have 60 days to do both, so I'm going to be watching. IF I have any issues, I'll go from there.

When I was priming and tweaking voltages I noticed that it was no longer just erroring out. It was BSODing with the expected 101s.

Well, it just did it again. It was another 01e, and again, it was at idle.

Problem is still that I don't know what's causing this, so all I can even do is RMA the CPU, RAM and the board. All of it.

Ugh.

I'm back to one BSOD a day. I'm shipping the CPU and RAM back tomorrow. I'll send the motherboard whenever they feel like saying my serial number isn't invalid. I'm going to buy an ASRock Extreme4, Asus Sabertooth or an Asus Z68 board, just cause, that's going to be my third UD4. I'll sell the replacement on eBay.

I'm also ditching the H70 for a D14. I don't trust it.

Well since I'm non-committal, and since all the BSODs were referencing rt64win7.sys. I just did a reformat, cause that's pretty clearly a third party driver.

Still happening. But it's down to one every three or four weeks. It's not the RAM or IMC, it's always the same bugcheck (1E), I'd be getting varying blue screens if it were. The dump files ALWAYS reference network related .sys files. So I'd guess it would be the network driver, but I've tried three versions with no real luck. So I dunno, bad LAN chip on the board?

I'm out of ideas.

I don't know if I should bother swapping boards, I really don't have the money. At the same time, I can't RMA anything because I can't be down for a week-and-a-half and I can't afford any advance RMAs. I mean, I could swing another board and a set of RAM. Then I'd RMA what I have and sell what I get back.

I dunno. I just don't know.

Maybe I'll just deal with it and hope it's some driver combination and build with Ivy next year.

So it sounds like you never did the RMA's?
But then you had a few good weeks? and now it starting back again?
It could be power/electric problems where you live?
Do you have a good quality UPS ( uninterruptible power supply )?

Yeah, then I had a solid three weeks. I got another one, swapped LAN drivers and had a good month until another one. Before it was almost daily. The power has always been pretty good here, no issues to speak of. But it looks like I've got more problems, by main media storage drive decided to kick it right after I posted. Well, I guess it could be the controller, whatever.
