Its running fine at 3.0ghz temps are 37 and 32 degrees when the computer is just idle and running crysis 2 it's about 45 and 37 degrees. I don't think i'll try to get to 3.2ghz until i got a bit more money cos i don't wanna stuff anything upp and not have the cash to replace it

What cooler are you using. If you have a half decent one it should be fine for a higher clock.

Fix core voltage to 1.275 in the BIOS, and set the fsb to 266, disable Speedstep and anything resembling auto-anything. Set fan speed to maximum. Done. 3.466GHz. Should be possible even with the stock cooler (although it'll be running fast and may be a little loud). Monitor your temps just to check, and if it isn't stable bump the volage up a notch.

Gotta remember this is only bumping the fsb up to 266 - or stock for e7xxx chips, so doesn't put any real stress on the board or RAM, especially with no integrated GPU etc to worry about. Hell it's still comparable to running the e8600 and e8700 at stock, and as such doesn't really stress the cpu or cooling either. Should handle it no problem.

Heyy guys just letting you knoww i've been running my E5300 overclocked at 3.2Ghz for a few weeks now and it runs beautifully, using stock cooler, the temp hasn't really gotten any higher than it did when it was stock so xD. I reckon it would be able to push 3.4 easy but i'll try that another day. Just wanted to say thank you all for the help
