Yeah I have a Pentium 90MHz SX879 CPU and as some guy said in ##hardware IRC, it's got "pins that you can kill with"!
I think the CPU works but I have no mobo to try it...yet.

Wow. I had an 8600 GT go to 202 or something and it survived, but it totally felt way too hot around it. I had a P4 in a Celey box that heated up the heatsink to an untouchable temp, too, and it still works, until some evil screws showed up and shorted my mobo out but I got a good-enough replacement.

I have not had a bad CPU yet. Hell my 8086 chip computer (over 30years ago) still switches on! -time to play some 2 colour games!!

8400 running 3.8ghz with almost stock voltage degraded on me barely gets to 3.4 with 1.3v now...

i blame people running it at 24/7

I have some SX, DX, DX2 and DX4 486's, and they look like they could hold a car with those pins. Makes my comb look flimsy :O
