This, there are microscopic (I am exaggerating, most of the time they can be seen) traces that can easily be damaged. If you just scraped the inside of the screw whole then you should be semi okay, usually those are just ground points.

Well, I'm away for the weekend. I'll try tommorow.

The scratch is very small - about 1 mm long - and is fully covered by the paper washer I used to mount the block. The paper washer is about 2 mm circumfrence, so it's within 1 mm of the screw hole. I saw no visible damage to any of the tracks.

I *HOPE* it works (actually, it's been an ever present thought on my mind all weekend lol.)

But yeah, I don't really want to try to fire it up until after I leak test and I'm not too keen on starting it up with only the copper waterblock...so, I'll know in about 2 days.
