Got all the parts in today. Will run Window 7 64bit hopefully.

Are there any steps i should be aware about, such as the bios setting etc.

Depends, what would you like to know? Shoot some questions.

Something I'm just going to tell you now before you think it's an issue later. If you open a program such as CPU-z or any reading program, it'll say your CPU is running at 1600MHz, it'll also fluctuate some. Don't worry, the reason it's at 1600Mhz is because of an Intel BIOS setting known as Speedstep. What Speedstep does is keeps your CPU running at 1600MHz until you put load onto it. For example, if you start up a game it'll shoot up to what it's supposed to be.

Speedstep is mainly there to save energy and reduce heat, as well as increase the life span of your CPU.

Just make sure you don't go above 1.35-1.4v with an air cooler while you're Overclocking, then you should be fine.

Anything else? Just ask, we're here to help you!

Up the multi and vcore bit by but. The number you type in the multi is the speed mutiplyed by 100. So if its 40 = 4000.
