[BI] Analyst: "iPhone 4S" coming to T-Mobile and Sprint - Page 2

Works out good for people who jumped on the iPhone 4 early. There should be a sweet iPhone 5 getting ready to launch next summer that will be 4G capable, right when everyone's 2 year contracts are up.

Anyone have a plan view map of 4G coverage, or planned 4G coverage in the next year-2 years?

n omatter what they are going to release get ready for lines... at this point there is not much of technology to add to iPhone... just make it perfect: good camera, better battery, faster, sapphire glass.... things like this will make it worth to buy... and who needs 3d camera as some android phones has to offer.

Personally I dont know if I'll have enough finance to get new one this year... will see.

I am wondering the same-thing... spend the time and just release an up to date product and call it a day, and not just minor updates, its just saturating the market with "unnecessary" devices....

Why is everyone hating on an update? Do you think it is better for people to go out and spend $200 on an iphone 4, or $200 on an iphone 4s? Updates are good

Well that depends... if the person didn't have a iphone 4 prior to to the release of the iphone 4s, then it would be ok to update to the iphone 4s, but if you already have an iphone 4, i don't see then sense in jumping to the iphone 4s, when the iphone 5 would be released in a few months time.....

When has Apple ever released more than one new model of iPhone in the same 12 month period? Answer: Never.

Do you really think that's all that's going to be updated? Not a single person can (or will) confirm what's going to be in the next iPhone model. Not even the name is set in stone until Jobs gets on stage and announces it. IT's ALL rumor until that point. But yea, the only given is the A5.

Either 1.) Because it's Apple or 2.) They conveniently forget how frequently Android devices get released or 3.) Both.

Since Apple only releases one phone update per year instead of 1,000, the haters themselves seemingly hold Apple to a higher standard than any company they actually support. Which is just kinda weird how that works out when you think about it considering they don't buy apple products.

No matter what Apple decides to update, the regular customers will be happy, and the haters will hate. And the cycle goes on.

Btw im not hating I have all the iPhone models but the 3GS which wasn't huge upgrade over the 3G just like 4S over 4.
4G coverage is spotty at best, and needs a lot of improving in the US. Apple knows that there are potential customers on 3G networks that would definitely use their phones if available, so it's a worthy release from a business perspective. Wonder what modifications need to be done for use on the various networks, like Sprint's network.

You would think that instead of just releasing the phone on more carriers the "great innovator" would try and innovate and make the 4S something new, after all we are being told how great the A5 is, why can't they create a web top?
