Way to let me down again apple.

The bay area is 99% 4g covered, so yes it matters.
Is there any reason to get 4G?

I can't find a single reason to go beyond 3G.

I get 2.5Mbps/1.0Mbps almost anywhere.

And you can't tether anymore, so I don't need it at home or for my laptop.

Faster speeds obviously, then improved voice quality once that gets activated. I believe Verizon was already testing that. 4G speeds are really pretty amazing, although I wonder how they'll hold up once networks become more crowded over the next couple years.

It's just a matter of if you need that extra speed or not right now, and are covered.

T-Mobile and Sprint don't have the iPhone at all, why should Apple force them to wait for a new set of hardware?

I absolutely hate my iPhone... I actually like the Windows OS better than anything else, It's so classy and tuned, everything is just there. iOS is becoming all about the games and I hate that.

I'm not exactly sure of the 4G/LTE situation in the US, but from what I hear, only a tiny portion of the population can even get coverage and it's mostly a scam. Australians will get LTE in all capital cities (Sydney and Melbourne first) by 2012 thanks to Telstra.

I get .7 D and .3 up. Matters too me.
